Whomping Wednesdays: Top 5 EDM Albums of 2011

Tis the season where we take a brief moment to reflect on the songs that were the anthems of our playlists, the albums that served as the sounds tracks, and the live performances where we partied our brains out. I’m not going to lie when I say I lost a lot of sleep over this (read as I stayed up until the wee hours replaying to all of these jams at full volume) and I hope that these songs/albums/videos did the same for you!

And Finally, in the spirit of the holidays, I wanted to leave you with one of the coolest holiday light shows I’ve ever seen. This guy had the balls to risk scaring the crap out of all of his neighbors by syncing a ridiculous light show to Skrillex- First of the Year (Equinox). Whomping Wednesdays: Camo & Krooked

A duo from Vienna, Austria have been crafting one of the most highly anticipated EDM albums of 2011 and it’s release is just around the corner. Camo & Krooked have been turning the heads of all the major producers, DJ’s, and EDM fans and their forthcoming album, Cross the Line, is due out on Hospital Records Monday, October 3rd.

Cross the Line is a true display of the talent that is just teeming inside these two producers and why this full LP is clearly a milestone in their bright future.
